About Us

The Academy for the Art of Teaching is dedicated to providing FIU's Teaching Community---full-time faculty, adjuncts, and graduate teaching assistants--with resources and support needed to encourage the highest quality of teaching and learning throughout the university. Through individual, group, and campus-wide programming, the Academy keeps the teaching community abreast of pedagogical developments, maintains and provides a wide array of resources on teaching and learning, and supports teachers in enhancing their teaching.
